THE EL CABRON ORIGIN STORY
El Cabron started with a dream. Miguel and Carlos (in Mexico) and Chris (in London) -- shared a dream of making the best mezcal in the best possible way. In 2022 the Universe brought them all together and after a lot of tastings and talking, in 2023 El Cabron was born!
Mezcal is a gift from the Gods to the Zapotecan people and El Cabron honors that heritage. El Cabron is made in our own distillery in the heart of the Zapotecan community – Mitla, Oaxaca. We are committed to making the best mezcal while caring for the Zapotecan Land and People. El Cabron Mezcal uses traditional methods and is certified “artisanal” quality. Every step of our process – from harvest to distillation - is orchestrated by our top-of-the-field, Sensorial Maestro, Miguel. And every aspect of our business is carried out with honesty and integrity by Carlos. Chris owns a successful London speakeasy and is our rocket of energy who shoots for the moon!
